Pricing and Options

FYI; unless
you are choosing from adoptable bears, all orders are custom and all
sales final.
Bear prices, and additional
option prices are listed below. Shipping will vary dependent on location,
package weight and other factors.
- 16" basic bear, $59.95 $69.95 after
- 12" basic bear, $49.95 $59.95 after
- 8" bear, $20 to $25 $30 after
- Oversize bears, ie 24" and up start at $80.
Things you need to know:
It is easy to add photos to a 16" or larger bear. They can be placed in
ears, on footpads or on a heart on the chest. Memory vests for a 16" bear
have room for photos and/or verbage. It is also fairly easy to have embroidery
on the footpads, or chest [depending on the amount of letters]. There is also a
lot of opportunity to incorporate logos, special stitching details etc from the
original clothing. The smaller the bear, the harder it gets and some designs do
not show well at all.
A 12" bear is not
just 4" shorter, but everything is smaller. Photos used on the 12"
bear will be much harder to see, and if words are wanted, they will have to be
short! They can still be quite expressive however, and are an especially good
choice in some cases.
8" bear: no photos,
no embroidery and not too much option for using clothing detail. This size is
better for 'theme' bears than memory bears.
Oversize bears: These
usually come about when the design on a sweatshirt or sweater is too big for
anything else; ie, you would not see enough of the design to know what it was!
Another plus of these is that photos on foot pads or in ears are a really nice
distinguishable size so you do have more options there.
Option pricing
[photos, vests, embroidery etc]
- Vests ~ adding a vest with
photo and/or wording is $5.95 per bear.
- Photos on ears or footpads ~ $1 each
- Embroidery ~ $5 per footpad. Always
check the number of letters with me first; ie, a long name will not fit on
a small footpad, sometimes not even on one for a 16" bear.
If
you want a name inside of a heart embroidered on the chest, it may be
more, $7.50 to $10 depending on size and lettering as this takes two setups,
not just one.
- Clothing resized to
- Eyes...no charge for color
choice on eyes!
- Gauze or netting heart on chest to hold a
trinket. $1 They are done in red but you can see through to the item
nestled within. [Unless you request solid fabric]
- White hearts with photo, words
or both printed on the fabric. $1
You can view examples of
most previous bears by clicking on Gallery and choosing any year. Most of our bears are featured
and if you see a particular style you like, you can reference them by image
name when you email me. You do NOT have to choose from there, they are just an
aid. Many of the different options I offer came about because a customer asked
"Could you do this?" or "Is there any way we can include
____?".

Heads Up!
The time has come the Walrus
said…Wait, start over! One of my
customers pointed out to me that my prices had not increased in a long time. No, she was not complaining, but she did
suggest I should revisit and research, because prices elsewhere have not
remained constant.
I did and … she is
right. It has been over 12 years since I
made any changes. In the last 2 or 3,
stuffing alone increased in price more than once. Annual maintenance on my sewing machine
jumped as well, plus the items required to print photos on fabric. With the increases in minimum wage, it is
understandable prices go up. Meanwhile,
my “wages” go down!
Right about now, someone is
thinking “What about shipping?” Yes,
shipping certainly has gone up, but rather than doing set amounts, I figure
each and every order on its own merits.
In other words, you only pay what YOUR order requires. I will round to the closest 50 cents or
dollar. If there is a huge difference
between Priority and Parcel Post, you get to choose which one. There will be no
changes in how that is figured. As far as I can tell, any of the automatic
preset deals would overcharge you and I’m not going to do that.
After some contemplation,
here is what I’ve decided. AS OF
